Farmingdale, NY – May 22, 2024 – PALS SkyHope, a leading nonprofit dedicated to providing free medical flights for individuals in need, is proud to announce the appointment of Adam Broun as Chairman of the Board.
With a wealth of knowledge in the Aviation and Tech industry, Adam brings a unique combination of leadership, expertise, and passion for philanthropy to PALS SkyHope. As Chairman of the Board, Adam will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction, fostering partnerships, and advancing its mission of ensuring access to essential medical care for all individuals.
Adam has been volunteering his time and aircraft, completing nearly 230 flights for PALS patients since he began in 2013. Since then, he has been a part of multiple event committees and became a board member in 2021. Whether it’s flying a baby with a rare disease, a mother with cancer, or a veteran with PTSD, Broun has answered the call for more than ten years.

Adam succeeds Jim Platz, one of the many founding members who helped make PALS SkyHope into what it is today: an award-winning nonprofit in the field of charitable aviation. The PALS SkyHope organization extends its deepest gratitude to Jim for his dedicated service and continuous leadership.
