Quinlee is a joy to have on our free medical flights and lifts the hearts of our entire team

Quinlee and her Mom take one of many PALS free flights for medical care

Quinlee has not only been fighting since birth to succeed in the face of Pik3CA, but achieving milestones no one thought she ever would.

We can agree that traveling for 11 hours in a car with a baby is a long and tiring trip. Making that trip on a regular basis with a baby who needs to receive crucial medical treatment is nearly impossible. That’s just what Quinlee and her parents were doing since she was 2 months old. That is until they found out about PALS.

We were able to provide Quinlee and her mom with free medical flights from an airport about an hour away from their home in rural Maine to Boston Children’s Hospital.

These flights to medical care not only make the travel part of treatment easier on Quinlee and her Mom, but makes accessing her therapy easier which is crucial for her continued development.

“She is a little miracle who has achieved all of these things, I never thought she would be able to do… She is my hero.”
Quinlee’s mom Taylor shared with us about her young daughter’s strength
“PALS means so much to us – they have helped us out, saving us time and money and they’re just really uplifting in everything that they do for us. I wish that I could repay them from the bottom of my heart.”

When Quinlee was born there was so much uncertainty. Her Mom said they didn’t know if she would be able to walk or talk. Quinlee has gone way beyond what most people thought she would, she’s just a little miracle.

We’re so proud of Quinlee and honored to be able to help her get the care she needs.

Our Story

PALS began its mission to provide free medical, compassion and veteran flights back in 2010. It was the dream of our founders, who as pilots felt their skills and resources could help people with free air transportation for medical treatments.

That initial inspiration and the first PALS flight has now grown to over 27,000 flights for over 3,200 families and an astounding 6.5 million miles flown. Quite an accomplishment for a free air travel organization a little over 10 years old.

Our Passenger Stories

Over the years and over many missions, we’re honored and humbled to hear how many lives we’ve been able to impact. Often times when a person is diagnosed with a life-changing illness, the care they need is inaccessible by car due to the repeat trips and length of each trip. When these families and individuals reach out to PALS, our team of volunteer pilots and mission coordinators go to work to make free travel to a medical facility or hospital possible. The stories we hear and those that our patients send us are all the reward we need.

Let’s make more critical medical flights and compassion flights happen! We cannot do it without you.
