Are you interested to learn more about how to participate in the
2021 TCS New York City Marathon?

For the 6th year in a row, PALS has been selected as an official charity partner and we can finally announce that we will have 20 dedicated runners for race day on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

This annual marathon courses through the five boroughs of New York City.  It is the largest marathon in the world, with more than 53k finishers in 2019 and 98k applicants for the 2017 race.  Here’s a little fun fact for you all.  What has grown to be so big, started out so small. The first New York City Marathon took place in 1970 and was held entirely in Central Park. There were just 127 entrants and only 55 of them finished.

There will NOT be a lottery or time qualifier option for this year’s race. The only way to gain entry to the 2021 TCS New York City Marathon is via one of the guaranteed entry methods, such as running for a NYRR Charity partner like PALS! Also, running for a charity not only provides you with guaranteed entry, it also gives you the opportunity to change lives and give back to your community.

PALS provides free critical medical flights that will enable families to access the best possible treatments for the best possible outcomes. Like NYRR, we are inspiring those that are sick to never give up, and to put one foot in front of the other to keep moving forward!  While not all of our patients may be able to run marathons, our services help them to lead the healthiest lives they can by accessing top doctors and specialized programs throughout the country. By offering flights on private general aviation aircrafts, we are mitigating the exposure and risk to those that are already immune compromised and safely transporting them to the critical care they deserve.

Together we are capable of impacting the lives of so many.
